SG-Coach Technical Certification Courses (Figure & Short Track)

To be eligible for the National Registry of Coaches (NROC), kindly refer to the guidelines provided for by Sport Singapore.

How to receive SG-Coach Technical Certification

1. Through SG-Coach Technical Course by SISA
2. Through Prior Learning Accreditation (SISA recognizes coaches who have already passed an equivalent coaching technical accreditation from another country. Technical Course consists of 3 tiers:

★ Certification Course

- individuals who have not previously passed the SG-Coach Level 1 Technical Certification

★ Technical Updates with CCE Points

- must attach a copy of their Level 1 or above Technical Certificate with this enrolment form
- will not be required to sit for the exam; but if they choose to do so, will NOT be awarded a certificate as they would already be a holder of such a certificate.
- must produce their original NROC log book at the end of the course to the SISA official for CCE points endorsement.

★ Overview

- is suitable for skaters who would like to understand SG-Coach technical certification course if they intend to take on coaching in the future 
- is suitable for parents who would like to understand the process of accrediting coaches through the technical module of the Singapore Coach Excellence SG-Coach Programme
- It is not compulsory for participants enrolling for ‘SG-Coach Level 1 Technical Overview’ to attend the on-ice session.
Participants of ‘SG-Coach Level 1 Overview’ will NOT be admitted into the exam session.
